Meaningful and safe work is good for people’s mental health and wellbeing. It provides structure and purpose, a sense of identity and opportunities to develop skills and increased feelings of self-worth. However, there are some circumstances where work has undesirable impacts on health and wellbeing.

Consulting Services:

Recognising and managing risks in the workplace that may lead to physical or psychological injury is an essential part of work health and safety and a legal responsibility for employers. Specifically, employers are responsible to manage hazards and risks and to create a safe, healthy and productive workplace. This applies to psychosocial risks, which is now a legal responsibility for employers operating in some Australian States.

With the changes to WHS regulations, it is becoming increasingly important for business leaders to understand current regulations and be aware of their responsibilities to implement control measures to eliminate psychosocial risks or to minimise the risks so far as is reasonably practicable.

We're offering consulting services to assist you through this transition period and help you to minimise the risks in your organisation. We have a number of packages available:

Gold package:

A comprehensive and data-informed package that guides an employer over a 12-month period to meet their duties under the WHS Regulations to manage psychosocial risks at work. Starting with a diagnostic assessment of psychosocial risks and workplace wellbeing, our psychology consultant assists you to identify known psychosocial risks and hazards in the workplace, review existing workplace data associated with wellbeing, assess the level of wellbeing and presence of workplace nutrients relevant to employee wellbeing, advise on workable control measures that can either eliminate or reduce the risks, assist in the development of prevention plans, and guide the development of procedures to continuously review the risk control measures via reliable and valid measures, and towards long-term successful management of psychosocial risks.

Silver package:

A data-informed and leader-driven solution that guides managers over a 6-month period to meet their duties under the WHS Regulations to manage psychosocial risks at work. This is a similar and more condensed program compared to the Gold package.

Bronze package:

A simple and cost-effective solution that guides managers to understand their duties under the WHS Regulations to manage psychosocial risks at work. Starting with a diagnostic assessment, our psychology consultant presents the results of the assessment and provides a guide for managers to identify psychosocial risks, create workable control measures, develop prevention plans and procedures to continuously review the risk control measures and towards long-term successful management of psychosocial risks. This includes a 2-hour session with the psychology consultant.
